Raul is a new partner in the assurance business line at EY in Prague. Focusing on the built environment in general and the real estate industry in particular. He did lead the sustainable real estate working group in CE Region for Deloitte and is a member of the Real Estate market advisory group at UNECE, focusing on sustainable finance and asset assessment, he is also on the advisory board of United Cities, assessing the liaison between ESG and SDGs for the creation of industrial cities.

With more than 25 years of International appointments in Public Institutions & Private Corporations, he specialized in real assets’ investments and works actively in creating ESG strategies and a wide variety of solutions for Real Estate developers and investors, from asset audits to portfolio strategies and corporate sustainability needs. For 15 years Raul managed an investment portfolio of industrial and commercial real estate with developments in renewable energy and agriculture. With strong command in urban development, project finance & technology adoption to be applied to real assets’ business, he is also involved in projects related to smart cities.

Raul worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit establishing a high-level network of political, corporate and academia across the CEE & CIS Regions and prior to that worked for the Spanish Ministry of Economy in Prague and was responsible for the establishment of the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Slovakia.
