An exceptional four player ‘flight’ golf tournament under the name of CZECH RAF GOLF TROPHY will take place on Sunday 9thSeptember 2018 at the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně, in honour of Czechoslovak pilots and ground personnel, who fought 78 years ago in the Royal Air Force over Great Britain and Europe… A real size replica of the legendary Supermarine Spitfire will be on the Royal Club’s terrace, accompanied by pilots and ground staff in battle uniforms, but above all there will be a real Spitfire Mk. XVI in the colours of the 312thCzechoslovak Squadron flying over the heads of everyone at the tournament. This will create the perfect atmosphere of an airstrip somewhere in England in 1942…

The joint organisers of the event are the Whisky&Kilt Golf Club, Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně and the Czech Spitfire Club. The event is taking place on the 100thanniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic and 100 years since the foundation of the Royal Air Force, in cooperation with the Czech Army on behalf of the Solidarity fund of the Czech Army. The event will be under the patronage of the British Chamber of Commerce.
