Do you have a corporate football team and want to play for a good cause? You can. This year, on 12 September, Sue Ryder Home, a long-standing member of the British Chamber of Commerce, is organising the 16th edition of the successful SUE RYDER CHARITY CUP 2024 small-sided football tournament for companies. Traditionally at Strahov and as always with the main aim of “digging up” funds for the operation of the Sue Ryder Home for the Elderly.
Participants of the event of Prague-wide significance will have a lot of fun and adrenaline. “The programme at the AC Sparta Prague Training Centre in Strahov will be guided by our proven partner – sportsman Standa Bartůšek, the right atmosphere will be enhanced by the cheerleaders, and the auction game for jerseys signed by all Sparta players will surely delight, entertain, and most importantly HELP,” adds Moravcová.
You can experience the atmosphere of the tournament at least virtually in the invitation video.
The proceeds will mainly support the work of the nurses, who together with the whole team are also involved in making palliative care a solid part of care for the elderly in our country. “Every goal thus contributes to the fulfilment of our mission, as we strive to ensure that everyone in the Czech Republic can age with dignity,” says the spokeswoman for the non-profit organisation Domov Sue Ryder, z. ú. Martina Moravcová.
Registration of teams is already underway. However, there are still a few open spots left to fill on the start list. If you have a football team in your company and want to enjoy – moreover useful – teambuilding, you still have a chance to sign up.
