NewsProfessional Services Market Visit, BCC Case Study

The British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic is currently preparing the third edition of market visit for UK professional services firms (accountants, law firms, consultants) to meet with potential business partners in the Czech Republic. The event is suitable for independent professional services companies on both sides to discus sales and partnership opportunities.

In the previous two years we saw 20 UK companies visiting, meeting with 100 Czech firms. The core of the events were organised one-to-one meetings held at the British Embassy in Prague.

The outcomes to date include 4 registered export wins for UK companies, clients reporting starting to do business with other trade mission participants and local companies (many of them Chamber members) establishing valuable links with new UK partners.

The first edition was part of the then UKTI London trade mission to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland and you can watch a short video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mpF9F73058

Elizabeth Fehnrich, ITA in London covering Professional Services said: “These events are a great way to develop business, and therefore export wins, in the short, medium and long term. Several of my clients have attended and have reported ongoing business won.   I am now getting enquiries and requests from my clients for similar events in other countries.   It would be great if more we pioneered with Filip in The Czech chambers could repeat the model Republic.”
