Domestic violence affects each and every one of us. Our friends, families and sometimes even ourselves can fall victim to this vile crime. However the world is evolving and adapting to help end this unacceptable behaviour. A tool has been created to assist victims of domestic violence, the Bright Sky mobile app. After being launched in the UK two years ago, Nadace Vodafone are now preparing for the Bright Sky CZ app’s public debut.
Bright Sky CZ was created in co-operation with Policie CZ, the Ministry of Interior and ROSA.
There is a Bright Sky CZ Workshop scheduled for this Friday, the 27th of September. This event will be live-streamed in English, Czech and Czech sign language on the Nadace Vodafone website, www.nadacevodafone.cz at 09:00. Tune in and learn how to recognize a violent relationship, where to find help, how to advise your friends or colleagues and much more.
The event will be hosted by British policeman, John Liversidge, co-author of the Bright Sky app.
