The British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic is happy to welcome Magdaléna Wavle as a new member of the BCC Board of Directors, where she will replace Richard Stonavský. Mr. Stonavský, as Director of Regulatory & External Affairs at one of the BCC’s Patrons, Vodafone, has served as a Board member since 2017. At the September 17 meeting, the board of directors unanimously supported the proposal to co-opt Mrs. Wavle as a member of the board.
Mrs. Wavle has been working with Vodafone since 2018, starting as Head of Talent and Capability, and is currently working as Director of People & Property and acting Director of Commercial Operations. Mrs. Wavle has been a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion—values greatly promoted by the BCC as well—and at Vodafone, she has introduced revolutionary policies on Health & Safety, Wellbeing, and Equity in the workplace. Moreover, she has gained extensive experience in the banking and IT sectors in various roles in the Czech Republic and abroad. As such, we strongly believe that she will be an excellent contribution to the BCC Board of Directors.
The BCC Board of Directors and Executive team would like to thank Mr. Stonavský for all his passionate work for the BCC. We are very much looking forward to further cooperation with Mrs. Wavle and Vodafone.
