Description
GDPR – Understanding and preparing for the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation
Organisations that handle EU citizens’ data are preparing for the changes to be introduced by the GDPR, effective throughout the EU from 25 May 2018. From data protection officer positions, data breach notifications, data protection impact assessments, to privacy awareness trainings, the GDPR will substantially change the way we approach privacy and personal data. Effective GDPR compliance begins with understanding the aims and objectives of this regulation and the challenges and implications involved in the GDPR implementation process.
Join us for a morning workshop focused on the key changes under the General Data Protection Regulation. We will start with a general overview accompanied by practical examples and afterwards discuss the practical impact and issues. Our speaker will be Ms Zuzana Wohlmuth, Wohlmuth Legal, a data protection specialist, who has great practical insight and experience gained from many GDPR projects with clients of various sizes and backgrounds, from a wide range of industries.
