On 26 September, the British Chamber of Commerce, the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland-Czech Republic together organised a one-of-a-kind event:

Speed Business Meeting

The principle was rather simple: Meet 10 potential business partners within 100 minutes!

Speed Business Meeting, organised across three different business chambers, offered each participant a distinctive chance to introduce their services or products through ten ten-minute speed-dates to people they typically wouldn’t cross paths with. A ring of a bell reliably marked a necessary change of seating every single time – some attendees approached the table, sat down and spoke by heart, while others came equipped with manuals, leaflets and other materials explaining their operation. The rate with which new information was shared among all the tables was astounding, and it was fascinating to see representatives of so many different sectors meet in one room and express their passion for their jobs.

The formal part was followed by a dinner buffet where attendees, not restricted by time anymore, could explore the business passions of other participants in more depth, and perhaps with a glass of wine, too.
