Prague European Summit
Description
We are honoured to invite you, on behalf of EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and Institute of International Relations Prague, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic and the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic, to register for the sixth year of Prague European Summit (PES) held on 18-19 November 2020.
The sixth edition of the Summitwill focus on topics relating to policy shifts in a changing global climate. The latter certainly does not concern only climate change as a significant political, economic and social challenge but also, and perhaps more importantly, the changing rules of multilateral, diplomatic and security order in today’s global political landscape. While reflecting on the current COVID-19 pandemic, the purpose of this year’s edition is to demonstrate that the survival and resurgence of international cooperation, as well as trade and security mechanisms are key components to achieve sustainable development of the global community.
PES held on 18-19 November 2020 will be organised in a hybrid format with virtual studio in the Czernin Palace, Prague. Due to current epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic, there will be no audience, only virtual participation is possible.
