We are so glad to announce that Eva Shaw, member of the Steering Committee will be our next My Story speaker.

This time at Opero, please, come and join us for a glass of wine.

Eva Shaw

Having lived and worked in a third culture environment; Eva was born in the UK from Czech parents and is now living in the Czech Republic with her family.

She has spent the last 20 years working in executive search and advising senior people with their career choices. So how is it when you are able to give others sound advice and then find that you are in need of advice both professionally and personally. How when you talk about overcoming fear and becoming self confident you feel exactly those emotions and realise that it’s not so black and white and life has a way of throwing you a curve ball.

I will be discussing my life growing up in the England with traditional Czech parents, my aspirations as a young woman, having a family, moving back to the Czech Republic, working in and with different cultures and how the last 12 months has been the toughest year ever dealing with my son who I can only advise but see how he struggles with fear and anxiety.

There is no book and sometimes you really have to stop and take a look around and work out what is truly important and real in your life!

This event is intended for mentors, mentees, alumni and all Equilibrium friends & public.
