About Daniela Pešková
As of 1st February 2016 Daniela Pešková has been a member of the Board of Directors of ČS responsible for Retail banking. Daniela became the only woman on the Board of Directors of big Czech banks.
She began her banking career in 1998 at GE Capital Bank as an Early Collections team leader. She went through management positions and in September of 2003 she extended her professional experience as the Head of Mortgage Division at Budapest Bank in Hungary. Later in 2004, Daniela started working in the financial group Raiffeisen International in Slovak Tatrabanka as the Head of the Project, Process and Organizational Department.
After this experience, in December 2007, Daniela began work for the financial group Erste at Česká spořitelna. She started as the Head of Retail Operations, where she advanced to the first woman member of the BoD.
Daniela´s professional background includes graduating from the University of Economics in Prague in the Faculty of International Relations. Later, she successfully completed the Leadership program at the Katz Graduate School of Business in Pittsburgh, McKinsey Lean Academy in Santiago de Chile and Green Belt certification in project management quality based on the philosophy of Six Sigma.
