Dear Equilibrium Friends,
You are kindly invited by the British Chamber of Commerce and the British Embassy Prague to attend the Equilibrium Alumni Spring Conference this March. We organise this event to gather former and current mentors and mentees of the Equilibrium programme. Equilibrium is a mentoring program for women in managerial positions from a variety of sectors including business, politics, non profit and start ups.
The programme is intended to create a creative and supportive environment for sharing experiences and learning from one another.
The Conference will take place on Thursday 19 March 2020, in the afternoon, from 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm. The whole event will be held in English. The agenda will comprise of a keynote speaker and 2-3 45 minute panel discussions.

The keynote speaker – Dr. Heidi Meyer, Master of Lord Leycester Hospital
Heidi Meyer is the 33rd Master of the Lord Leycester Hospital – a philanthropic organization founded in the reign of Elizabeth 1 in 1571. She is the first female Master to be appointed and has held the position since November 2016.
She worked for NATO as the Senior Political Advisor to the Commander of the Land Forces of NATO located in Izmir, Turkey and also for the US Department of State as a lecturer on the Faculty for the Conflict Prevention and Mitigation program at the US Department of State Foreign Service Institute, Arlington Virginia, USA.
Heidi Meyer has also worked as a social studies schoolteacher for three years in Naples; and set up and run a non-profit NGO delivering aid to forty countries.
She earned a Master’s degree from the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Warwick in July 2018. She was born in Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom and has dual US/UK nationality.

As a NATO International Civilian, she was assigned at the NATO HQ in Naples Italy from 2000 to 2001 as the civilian military desk officer during the Kosovo crisis working with UN and non-profit organizations.
