The British Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its first Equilibrium Alumni Conference and its motto:
“Dream – Dare – Share”
Manal Alsharif delivered an inspirational speech to the audience.
Rated amongst the world’s top 100 most influential women, an activist and women’s’ rights fighter from Saudi Arabia, Manal Alsharif, is going to share her thoughts on the importance of diversified leadership as our honored keynote speaker. Read more about Manal below.
The aim of the alumni conference was to galvanise our commitment to diversity and to provide an opportunity to share our dreams, ideas and stories.

About Manal Alsharif
Manal Alsharif is one of the most eminent voices of the Women’s Rights movement in the Middle East.
At the centre of major policy, and political and societal debate involving women’s rights, she offers an enlightening look at the current state of women in Saudi society, told through her stories of fearless attempts to break through taboos.
Alsharif was hosted and interviewed by recognised media fronts and Global organisations such as CNN, BBC, TED, Harvard, and the United Nations Human Rights for her bold views and strong stands. She was awarded the Václav Havel Prize for Creative Dissent, TIME magazine named her one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World”, and the United Nations Human Rights hailed her as “A Driving Force for Change”.
Manal Alsharif uses her leadership and social media experience coupled with her expertise in IT Security, to ignite social reform. She speaks to inspire, empower and drive change.
