Marcel Gajdoš – General Manager at Visa for Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia
Marcel Gajdoš is a General Manager at Visa for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. In this role, he is responsible for the development of Visa’s business activities in all three countries and strengthening relationships with clients and partners. He joined Visa in 2006 and has been the General Manager since 2012. From his position, he has helped accelerate the development of cashless and digital payments in the Czech Republic and helped build the Czechs into pioneers in payment innovation. He was fundamental in launching innovative services in the country, such as the Click to Pay payment method or the use of biometrics in payments. In the past, he worked for companies such as UniBanka Slovakia and Wells Fargo in the USA.
