Karel Kadlec

Since 2003, when he founded the CarTec Group in Ostrava, Karel Kadlec has built a group that is now the largest BMW dealer in the Czech Republic, selling over 2,600 cars a year, with branches in Ostrava, Prague, Olomouc, Liberec and Brno. In addition to the official Mini and BMW Motorrad dealerships, since 2016 it has also owned the only Rolls-Royce dealership in the Czech Republic. Karel Kadlec is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague, he received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 award in the Moravian-Silesian Region for his success in business and is the father of three children. His eldest daughter Karin Kadlecová is now following in his footsteps as the CEO of CarTec Ostrava.
