About Zuzana Dvořáková

Zuzana Dvořáková is a Director of Business Development at AMBIS Vysoká škola – the largest private university in the Czech Republic. She is responsible for strategy, digitalization and internationalization. One of her current projects is the creation of a fully digital university bachelor’s program.

 

Before joining AMBIS, Zuzana worked many years at České dráhy and her last position was Director of Marketing and Pricing. She was responsible for the marketing communication of ČD brand and products with strong focus on new sales and brand repositioning.

 

Her mission was to persuade those who have not travelled by train in the last twenty years, that the company has evolved a lot and it can be fun and comfy to try it out.

 

Her biggest success was the brand transformation that among others involved new modern TV campaigns featuring the well-known Czech artists (Ivan Trojan, Ondřej Vetchý, Sabina Remundová and others), redesign of sales channels and introducing new products. These marketing activities increased the revenues of the company significantly and achieved professional recognition:

  • 3x Louskáček award 3rd place, the best advertisements in the Czech Republic
  • TOP 10 advertisements of 2019 (Mediář)
  • Google´s most popular adds on Czech YouTube (6th place)
  • 2020 ČD advertisement  is the most entertaining Czech ad (Ipsos)
  • Křišťálová Lupa (Můj vlak)

 

Zuzana studied in Prague and Copenhagen and has a Ph.D. in economics. After university she started in a management consultancy Roland Berger.

Zuzana has a large family with many teenagers. Together with her loving husband, their major goal is to make them discover the real world, not only its online version, they also try to persuade them to wear other colour than black. It´s a hard work, but Zuzana never gives up! She loves Šumava, where she spends most of her time walking, biking or landscape skiing, it´s a perfect recharge for her.
