NewsDeloitte Legal as the Law Firm of 2017 in Labour Law

Ambruz & Dark Deloitte Legal has been awarded the Law Firm of 2017 in the category of labour law. As was the case last year, Deloitte Legal was also listed among highly recommended law offices in the category of tax law and, moreover, it ranked among recommended law firms in the areas of corporate law, development and real estate projects, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. The survey has been organised by Epravo.cz for 10 years now.

“We obtained the Law Firm of the Year award and, simultaneously, we are recommended or highly recommended virtually in all key areas which our development and growth builds on. I consider it a strong future commitment and a proof that our growth is reflected not only in a 30% increase of lawyers year-on-year but also in the higher quality of services delivered to our clients”, said Jan Spáčil, Managing Partner at Deloitte Legal.

“This award reflects our ambition to grow and develop as well as our efforts to come up with an innovative approach to rendering legal services. Labour law is a complicated legal discipline which is shaped to a great extent by the government and various interest groups in society. We design solutions for our clients using our knowledge of foreign legal regulations the significance of which is on the rise, considering the deepening European integration. Aside from that, our cooperation with tax specialists enables us deliver comprehensive labour-law solutions to our clients”, commented Vladimír Ambruz, Attorney-at-Law and Partner at Deloitte Legal.

Jan Procházka has been the long-term leader of Deloitte Legal’s labour law team. He is also a member of the Czech Employment Lawyers Association and the Employment Section of the Czech Bar Association. Chambers and Partners, an international rating company, listed Jan Procházka and his team among recommended labour law specialists in the Czech Republic.

In the area of labour law, Deloitte Legal has used technology and innovations to substitute or complement clients’ routine activities. To name an example, Deloitte Legal developed the Dismissal Calculator tool providing a comprehensive summary of all implications of employment termination including related costs in most European countries.
