Štěpán Húsek, Milan Kulhánek and Miroslav Linhart have been appointed as partners at Deloitte Czech Republic starting from June. Štěpán Húsek and Milan Kulhánek lead teams specializing in automation and technology advisory, while Miroslav Linhart engages in managing real estate advisory services.
Štěpán Húsek (40) began his career at Deloitte Czech Republic in 2013 as a Senior Manager. He is responsible for technology advisory, innovations and the implementation of integrated solutions for clients. He leads Technology advisory services team, assisting clients primarily in the financial services sector in transforming their business models using innovative technologies.
Štěpán was awarded a degree in informatics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague and went on to working for IT start-ups, where he gained his first managerial experience, assisted with building a family-owned IT PR agency and carried out business in IT. Before joining Deloitte, Štěpán worked for IBM.
“Building a technology team was a challenge but, in the end, we succeeded in setting up a team that ideally combines technology-oriented experts with consultants having a deep business knowledge in banking,” says Štěpán Húsek, Partner managing the Technology advisory services team at Deloitte Czech Republic’s Consulting function. “Going forward, I would like to focus on innovations. The world of technology is not static, it changes terribly fast and we have to adapt to this speed.”
Milan Kulhánek (44) has been working at Deloitte Czech Republic for four years. As part of the Consulting function, he manages the Strategy & Operations advisory team primarily focusing on shared services centres, strategic HR and change management in organisations. A major part of his work focuses on robotic process automation and cognitive automation. His role entails developing strategic partnerships and seeking and deploying solutions that optimally combine business and technological aspects. Milan previously worked at IBM and Český Telecom. He has a degree in economics and management from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
“We combine technology and business. Our clients face a variety of challenges and we assist in solving them,” says Milan Kulhánek, Partner managing the Strategy & Operations team at Deloitte Czech Republic’s Consulting function, and adds: “For example our robotics team comprises of more than 30 experts, we play a global leader role within the Deloitte network.”
Miroslav Linhart (39) joined Deloitte fifteen years ago as an assistant auditor. Today, he manages the Real Estate Advisory team engaged in the residential and commercial real estate, development and construction segments. He specialises in real estate transactions, real estate valuation, market analyses and searching for acquisition targets.
Miroslav has a degree in Corporate Economics and Management from the University of Economics, Prague. He is a UK-Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
“I had been working as an auditor of real estate and construction companies for nine years at Deloitte when an opportunity arose to participate in building a specialised advisory team in this field. This determined my future direction,” says Miroslav Linhart, Partner managing the Real Estate Advisory team at Deloitte Czech Republic, and adds: “The real estate department complements the offering of services for our clients and, together with legal, tax and accounting advisory services, we are able to offer our clients a really comprehensive service.”
