Student Job Opportunity / Internship at the British Chamber of Commerce – 2 vacancies

We would welcome two interns from September for 1-year work experience at the BCC. The interns will gain experience by assisting senior managers with communications, event management, and programme assistance.

Position 1: Event Management & Programme Assistant – NO LONGER VACANT

The intern will gain experience by assisting the senior manager with event management, mainly opening educational events, workshops, and webinars. Also, the intern will help with programme management, coordinating the communication in the programme, prepare invitations, and will help with office administration.

Requirements 

  • Excellent communication skills in both Czech (C2) and English (C2)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong technical, organisational, and professional skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communications skills; high attention to detail
  • Position requires 1-year commitment and at least 10 hours per week
  • The internship is paid
  • Experience with event management
  • Bachelor’s or master’s programme student

Position 2: Communications & Event Assistant

The intern will gain experience by assisting the senior manager with communication and event coordination. Intern’s responsibility will be to manage the social media platforms of BCC, help with the preparation of the newsletter The Tube, and also partly help with event coordination together with office administration.
