Jako doma – Homelike o.p.s. is a non profit, social service organisation that has been supporting women without homes in Prague for 12 years now. We run a community day center for women without homes in Palmovka, provide social work to women housed in the homeless hostel for women in Prague 2, support women in social housing and run the social bistro and catering service Cooks without Homes – Kuchařky bez domova. Our goal is a society where everyone has the opportunity to live a dignified life and where there are no social and gender inequalities. Our tools are partnership and participation, empowerment, creating a safe environment and gender and trauma sensitive approach.
