We help people threatened by hunger, poverty, armed conflict and climate change. We also implement long-term development programmes that lead to self-sufficiency for local communities. We focus primarily on women and girls. We see their development as a pathway to peace, higher education for families and overall prosperity for wider communities. We provide immediate and effective support to affected people. We provide them with the essentials – food, drinking water, hygiene kits, blankets, tents and medical care. We stay in crisis sites for the long term, even after the media has stopped covering the area. We help people rebuild their backgrounds, livelihoods and cope with traumatic experiences. We work with local communities to set up preventive measures so that they can better face the consequences of natural disasters in the future. We target all projects with preventive measures so that community members can thrive and be self-sufficient. We encourage vulnerable communities to become self-reliant, teaching them how to adapt to changing climatic conditions in the economy. We also provide them with targeted educational courses on health care, nutrition, hygiene, financial literacy and economic self-sufficiency. In the Czech Republic, we help SMEs with the focus on women entrepreneurs, digitalization of micro and small businesses or entrepreneurs from Ukraine.
