So far we are very pleased with our sales – we took one order to an independent shop in July, and have also sold via online campaign sales platform during two campaigns. We are looking forward to doing another couple of sales with them I think there is good scope to keep moving numbers with them for at least another couple of years.

We have been extremely pleased with the deal that have come out of visiting this trade event in Prague. We have concluded an agreement with a high end Czech retailer.

Forest Gin, one of the worlds finest Spirits, is distilled by the Bond family, using a mix of Organic and foraged wild ingredients. The gin is uniquely packaged in an English Porcelain bottle, popular within high-end restaurants or luxury outlets.
During our attendance at the event, we have met several buyers and agents interested in our product. We have started trading with wholesaler Makro and are in touch with other companies we met at the Embassy in Prague.

It was great to meet quite a few potential business partners not mentioning the great venue for such an event. We are now developing sales with a distributor from the event.

We found the retailer from your event and they are now exclusive distributors of one of our brands, “LipGlam”. We have a 12 month exclusivity with them, after which time, we will review.

Spiralite is an Essex-based SME that manufactures innovative pre-insulated spiral ducting. The British Business Centre helped Spiralite and its new Czech distributor, Proxitech, solidify their position in the Czech market by introducing them to a series of key players.
The Market Assistance Programme created real value by helping us to connect with a range of relevant customers and partners in the market. I do not believe that we would have been able to achieve nearly as much without these services, and they served to significantly accelerate the business development process.
Product launch
Designflooring is a global interiors company that supplies luxury vinyl flooring to homes and businesses. The British Business Centre arranged a product launch event for Designflooring and its Czech distributor Barkotex at the British Embassy in Prague.
Our event at the British Embassy offered a unique opportunity to showcase our latest products to key specifiers and decision makers within Prague. We generated many new contacts during the event that will undoubtedly lead to new business opportunities and client relationships within the Czech Republic.
Market entry
Claydon is a Suffolk-based producer of patented direct seed drills. The British Business Centre supported Claydon’s entry into the Czech market by introducing them to local dealers of agricultural machinery in order to find a Czech sales partner.
We have a very good relationship with our new importer and they are making lots of demonstrations. So far they have purchased around £250 thousand worth of equipment, and we expect they will sell well in excess of a million’s worth over the coming year.

Polyseam is an independent manufacturer of professional sealants, adhesives and fillers. The British Business Centre helped Polyseam identify potential distributors in the Czech construction industry for their passive fire protection products. As part of their service package, we also arranged Polyseam’s first market visit to the Czech Republic.
The distributor we selected has now placed their first order, and we have agreed on a long term strategy to work together in the Czech Republic. I am very pleased with this result and absolutely sure they are the right partner for us. We could not have achieved this without the British Business Centre’s efforts and support.
