The British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic is seeking new colleagues to join its team!

The British Chamber of Commerce promotes the interests of its member-companies on both the Czech and international markets. With a platform of more than 200 members and 50+ networking events, educational seminars, and other social events on offer each year, the BCC is one of the strongest international chambers of commerce in the country. We are located in the Florentinum building, a prestigious and highly representative office complex situated in the heart of Prague’s business district.

The BCC is comprised of a team of 8 employees, each of whom is responsible and accountable for his/her own role on the team.

Positions available:

Communications Coordinator

As the BCC’s Communications Coordinator, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for preparing, scheduling, and executing all external and internal communications for the Chamber, which includes both print and digital materials, invitations, brochures, etc. You will also be fully responsibility for overseeing the BCC website and its CRM software, social media and any necessary updates, as well as preparing and planning our weekly newsletter, The Tube.

In addition, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for communication between the BCC Board of Directors and the Executive Team. He/she also coordinates the monthly meetings of the Chamber’s various working groups.

Programme Coordinator

As the BCC’s Programme Coordinator, you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for ensuring smooth continuity and development of the Chamber’s numerous programmes, such as:

– Equilibrium – Mentoring programme for women, which is currently in its 6th consecutive year.

– Volunteering Programme – Programme for sustainable cooperation between the business sector and non-profit organisations.

– Innovation Forum – Programme in its 1st year which is focused on supporting innovations of officers.

The responsibilities of the Programme Coordinator entail programme planning as well as preparing and executing any accompanying events, and also coordinating the agenda and maintaining communication with all parties involved.

In addition to the above job descriptions, each and every employee of the Chamber is responsible for acquiring and retaining our member companies.

Both positions require a candidate who can confidently communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Home office and flexible hours are negotiable. First and foremost, we are looking for creative team players who are able to work independently and bring fresh energy to our amazing team!
