Internet marketing – how much better can you perform?

 For any size of company, the internet has become an important channel for its business, for building or improving its online credibility, reputation and brand awareness as well as for communication with customers. This seminar will help people understand how to use internet marketing, how to achieve better results and how to use their marketing budgets more effectively. It is aimed at marketing managers, leaders of companies of all sizes and everyone who wants to increase revenues using the internet. The workshop will be held in English.

 

Goals of the seminar:

·     To explain the importance of the internet marketing

·     To uncover lesser known areas of internet marketing and clear up some of the myths around it

·     To clarify what is meant by Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, conversion architecture, web analytics, social technologies etc.

·     To show how to use internet marketing from day to day

·     To answer relevant questions

 

Throughout the day we will cover:

1.       Internet marketing basics

a       Why bother with internet marketing?

b        How to define a strategy for internet marketing?

c        What tactics to use to promote your business?

2.       Pay per click marketing (PPC)

a.       What are the basic principles of PPC advertisement?

b.       What types of PPC advertisement are there?

c.       Where can we advertise with PPC? In Google? Facebook? LinkedIn? Where else?

d.       How to set up a PPC campaign?

e.       How to measure results of PPC campaigns?

3.       Search engine optimization (SEO)

a.       What are the basic principles of SEO?

b.       What keywords to optimize for?

c.       How to optimize your own pages?

d.       How to approach back links building?

e.       How to measure effect of SEO?

 

4.       Conversion architecture

a.       What are the basic principles of conversion architecture?

b.       How to design a website or landing pages with conversion architecture in mind?

c.       How to measure customer behavior on a website to identify space for improvements?

 

The workshop will be run by Petr Macek, internet marketeer and coach. Petr runs an office of WSI in Prague and also heads PM marketing, an internet marketing agency.

Petr has extensive experience from business consulting and project management and worked on high complexity long term project in the Czech republic, Ireland, Russia and Ukraine. Petr has two Master Degrees from University of Technology Brno and University of Technology Sydney."
